Playa del Raisio

Hahdenniemi beach affectionately known as Playa del Raisio is a unique sandy summer beaches and sea view area. The world’s largest cruise ships glimmer in the midsummer sun on the opposite shore as they are being constructed. It’s a surreal but wonderful sight.

Playa del Raisio was renovated in 2022 to improve the beach and provide new shower and toilet facilities. There is also a restaurant with terraces and a marina. On warm summer days the beach is just a simple bicycle ride away even for young children.

There is beach surveillance from 19 June to 13 August from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Dogs are prohibited from swimming in the beach area. They are allowed to swim next to the boat ramp. There are also good dog swimming spots along Timalipolku.
